Hickory & King Candle Co. came to life after a beloved company went out of business. Due to the passion that was created from burning luxurious candles for such a long time I began on my quest to recreate that same candle experience of my own. Since candles were always a passion of mine, I decided to give it a try. I first started off making candles for myself primarily of fragrances that I enjoyed. These early candles while made from the same high quality ingredients were merely for my personal use. It was until my daughters took notice in what I was creating that I decided to take things to another level. They love quality candles as much as I do. I began by making small batches while still using the same high quality oils and soy wax I always had. I made small batches for the holidays and for family just as a hobby. Not long after I realized I wanted others to enjoy the luxurious experience of premium candles. I wanted to bring the tranquil feeling that the flicker of candle gives accompanied by the aromatic bliss that they produce. I understood that this project could no longer be done from my kitchen so I had to upgrade my work space. I created a workspace that I could produce candles for others so that they can have the same experience I once had that led me on this journey. I may have upgraded my equipment but every candle is hand poured and carefully crafted to provide the best candle experience possible and with this endeavor Hickory & King Candle Co. was created.
